P5.JS

Using the colour scheme of my emotional childhood experiences, I created interactive pieces using different inputs; keyboard, mouse, and sound. This allowed me to explore the p5.js application to understand further how Javascript can be effective.

I took inspiration from the artist, Anila Quayyum Agha, who uses large-scale installations to address certain issues such as gender roles, global politics, mass media, and much more. I particularly appreciated her use of ancient Islamic geometric and interlace patterns, incorporating culture and asymmetry in her works.
